The following summary outlines changes from previous 2008-2009 academic programs, courses, regulations and admission requirements, approved by the Senate of Lakehead University, are meant to become effective for the 2009-2010 academic year and appear in this web calendar. Additional changes and updates that do not require the approval of the Senate of the University and are not mentioned below, are posted directly into the web calendar as soon as possible after they become effective.

An associated program change should have been made at the same time to the First Year Chemistry requirement in the concurrent Education programs, BSc/BEd (Mathematics Major) in the Primary-Junior Specialization. The change should have been effective in the subsequent calendars for 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008, and 2008-2009.

Correction:
EDUC 4161 was deleted from the Calendar and replaced with EDUC 4116, 4117, and 4118, effective at the March 26, 2004 Senate meeting, but remained calendared in error. The course should have been deleted in the subsequent calendars for 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008, and 2008-2009.
Correction:
When the restrictive note on the course, Education 4284, was approved at the January 23, 2009 Senate meeting, a title change was also approved.
