B. Junior-Intermediate Specialization
J/I students must take 3 FCEs (except French and Music) in one of the teachable subjects. Recognized teachable subjects for J/I students are: Computer Studies, English, French as a Second Language (5 FCEs required), Geography, Health and Physical Education, History, Mathematics, Music - Instrumental (Music Degree required), Music - Vocal (Music Degree required), Native Languages, Native Studies, Science - General*, and Visual Arts.
*Sciences used towards the General Science teachable may be a combination of: Anthropology (Science courses only), Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies (Science Stream only), Geology (Earth Sciences) and Physics.
FOUR AND FIVE YEAR BACHELOR OF EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Each of these programs is offered concurrently with another degree. The Education components of the degree are listed below. Exceptions to the yearly progression through these courses occur in the programs in General Program/Native Education and in Indigenous Learning.
