(Bachelor of Education with an honours bachelor degree in a partnering discipline)
A. Primary/Junior Specialization
The Bachelor of Education Degree for certification at the Primary/Junior level is offered concurrently with an honours degree in a partnering discipline in the following programs:
HBA (Anthropology, English, French, Geography, History, Indigenous Learning, Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Women's Studies)
HBK (Kinesiology)
HBOR (Outdoor Recreation)
HBASc (Anthropology, English, Interdisciplinary Studies, Geography)(Orillia Campus)
HBSc (Anthropology, Chemistry, Geography, Geology with Major Concentration in Physics, Mathematics, Physics)

In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering honours bachelor degree program prior to entry into the Professional Year including:
1. 1 FCE in English, French or an Indigenous language
2. 1 FCE in Mathematics or Science
3. 1 FCE in Music or Visual Arts
4. Education 4410 (.5 FCE)
5. Education 4412, 4413, 4416, and one Education elective (see the Courses, Electives list, pages 86-87) (.25 FCE x 4=1 FCE)
6. A minimum cumulative average of 65% and a minimum major average of 70%
7. Students in the Honours BA, BEd (Indigenous Learning Major) are required to take one FCE in Native Language, Visual Arts 2060/Indigenous Learning 2060 and English 2702/Indigenous Learning 2702. Students should also take one FCE in English at the first-year level, including at least one of English 1111 or 1112, in the First Year. Students are encouraged to choose either Education 3235 or 3270 as their Education elective.
