Description:A student may undertake an independent study in a gerontological topic under the direction of a faculty member. The nature of such works will be clearly defined and agreed upon the by the student and faculty involved.

Description:Selected topics in Gerontology are offered each year to allow students to participate in areas of their choice and are determined by student demand and/or faculty availability and school approval.
Description:An interdisciplinary investigation of research and theory in gerontology with emphasis on the aging process from biological, psychological and sociological perspectives.
Description:Each student is required to attend this seminar in which students present their research topic to all others enrolled in the Gerontology Specialization.
