Five Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Bachelor degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements. (See Concurrrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements)

First Year:
(a) Visual Arts 1090, 1091, 1150, 1170
(b) Visual Arts 1110 and 1130
(c) Two of: Visual Arts 1010, 1030, 1050, 1070
(d) One half-course in English, French or Indigenous Language
(e) Education 1050

Second Year:
(a) Visual Arts 2211 and 2212
(b) One FCE in Visual Arts studio course, based on selection made in First Year (c) above; i.e. Visual Arts 2010/2011 or 2014/2015 or 2110/2111 or 2112/2113 or 2114/2115
(c) One FCE in Visual Arts second year studio courses or the pair of studio courses not selected in First Year (c)
(d) One FCE elective in Science (General Science 1000 recommended) (see Concurrent Bachelor of Education, Concurrent Content Regulations #1, regarding eligible Science courses)
(e) One half-course in English, French or Indigenous Language
(f) Education 2050

Third Year:
(a) One FCE from Visual Arts studio courses at second or third year level, depending on previous choices, or Visual Arts 3811, 3870, 3871, 4213, 4250
(b) Two FCE electives from Type B courses
(c) One FCE in Visual Arts second year studio course based on courses not taken in First Year (c), or Second Year (c)
(d) One half-course elective to be determined in consultation with the Department of Visual Arts
(e) One half-course Education elective (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)
