Professional Development in Education Courses

These degree-level courses are open to students in any program.

Students wishing to obtain Additional Qualifications (AQ)/Additional Basic Qualifications (ABQ) will take these courses. *See Department of Professional Development in Education Note regarding College of Teachers Additional Qualifications.

Offering/Hours of Instruction
Regulation 176/10 states that the minimum requirement for a course leading to an additional qualification shall consist of 125 hours of work, of which 100 should be "contact" hours and 25 may be documented hours of related study.
