Business 5071 Strategic Management
The first part of the capstone strategy portion of the MBA program, Business 5071 addresses issues that affect the overall direction of the organizations and emphasizes the general manager's perspective in strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and evaluation and control of strategy. This multi-disciplinary course draws on concepts and frameworks developed in economics, finance, accounting, organizational behaviour and politics. By integrating these functional areas of the organization, students will hone their analytical and managerial skills necessary to prepare an organization for challenges posed by this century and beyond.
