Five Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Intermediate/Senior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Bachelor degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements (See Concurrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements)

Note: Students must choose two teachable subjects. See Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education, Levels and Teachables.

The student's selection of courses requires the consent of the Chair of the Department of Languages.

First Year: 
(a) French 1510 and 1511
(b) French 1200 or 1204
(c) One FCE from Group I, excluding courses from the Department of Languages (see Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, First Year Arts Program Grouping Requirements)
(d) One FCE from Group II (see Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Regulations, First Year Arts Program Grouping Requirements)
(e) One-half FCE elective in second teaching field (See Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education, Levels and Teachables.)
(f) Education 1050

Second Year: 
(a) French 2201
(b) Two FCEs in French at the second year level
(c) One and one-half FCE electives in second teaching field
(d) Education 2050

Third Year:
(a) French 3201 or 3203 or 4220
(b) One FCE in French at the third or fourth year level
(c) One FCE elective in second teaching field
(d) One FCE from Group II (see Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Regulations, First Year Arts Program Grouping Requirements)
(e) One half-course elective
(f) One half-course elective in Education (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)

Concurrent Education (Intermediate/Senior) requirements
