Five Year program

Prior to Entry into the 2-Year Professional Program
In concurrent Education programs at the Primary/Junior level, students must meet and complete requirements of the partnering Bachelor degree program including all Pre-Professional Program Education requirements. (See Concurrent Degree Programs Information for Education requirements)

The student's selection of courses requires the consent of the Chair of the Department of Languages.

First Year: 
(a) French 1510 and 1511
(b) French 1200 or 1204
(c) One FCE from Group I, excluding courses from the Department of Languages (see Faculty of Social Sciences and Humaniteis, First Year Arts Program Grouping Requirements)
(d) One FCE from Group II (see Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Regulations, First Year Arts Program Grouping Requirements)
(e) One half-course elective in Music or Visual Arts
(f) Education 1050

Second Year: 
(a) French 2101 and 2201
(b) One FCE in French at the second year level
(c) One FCE in Science (General Science 1000 recommended) (see Concurrent Education, Content Regulations #1, regarding eligible Science electives)
(d) One half-course elective chosen in consultation with the Department of Languages
(d) Education 2050

Third Year: 
(a) French 3201 or 3203
(b) One FCE in French at the third or fourth year level
(b) One FCE from Group II
(c) One and one-half FCE electives (one half-course in French recommended)
(d) One half-course elective in Education (see Electives in the Department of Undergraduate Studies in Education Courses list)
